Star Gymnastics Private Training
Carefully structured gymnastics coaching that prioritises safe progress, body control, sound foundations and confident movement.
Star Gymnastics Private Training gives the coach more time to observe alignment, control, mobility and the quality of each movement. Skills should be taught through appropriate progressions, with readiness assessed before difficulty increases. The plan can support a beginner building foundations or a more experienced gymnast refining selected elements.
One-to-One Gymnastics Training
One athlete works directly with a Star Gymnastics coach. The session can be built around a narrow technical priority, a role-specific need or a combination of connected skills. The pace, number of repetitions and level of pressure can be adjusted to the athlete's response.
Individual Gymnastics Skills We Can Develop
- Body shapes and alignment: Hollow, arch, tuck, pike and straight shapes with controlled posture and tension.
- Balance and body control: Stable positions, weight transfer, controlled movement and awareness of body placement.
- Strength foundations: Core, shoulder, leg and grip strength developed through age-appropriate exercises.
- Flexibility and mobility: Controlled range of motion for the shoulders, hips, hamstrings and ankles without forcing positions.
- Jumps and landings: Take-off mechanics, shape in the air, soft controlled landings and safe force absorption.
- Rolling and inversion foundations: Safe shapes, hand support, spatial awareness and progressive preparation for inverted movement.
- Handstand development: Line, shoulder position, body tension, balance and safe entries and exits.
- Skill refinement: Breaking an agreed skill into manageable stages and improving execution only when the gymnast is ready.
Private Small-Group Gymnastics Training
A private group of two to four gymnasts works best when participants have compatible ages, levels and goals. The coach can use stations, partner observation and individual turns while preserving safe spacing, suitable progressions and meaningful feedback.
Recommended group size: two or three athletes, with a maximum of four. Players should be reasonably compatible in age, level, physical readiness and training goals so each participant receives meaningful coaching attention.
How Progress Is Reviewed
Progress should be judged by control, alignment, confidence, consistency and safe completion of the agreed progression—not by rushing toward advanced skills.
Reviews should describe observable changes and the next coaching priority. They should not promise guaranteed performance, team selection or competition results.
