Star Basketball Private Training
Individual basketball development built around technique, repetition, decision-making and confidence with the ball.
Star Basketball Private Training creates more time for detailed technical work and immediate correction. The coach can examine foot position, balance, hand placement, timing and decision-making, then design repetitions around the player's needs. The objective is not simply to complete drills, but to improve actions that transfer into games.
One-to-One Basketball Training
One athlete works directly with a Star Basketball coach. The session can be built around a narrow technical priority, a role-specific need or a combination of connected skills. The pace, number of repetitions and level of pressure can be adjusted to the athlete's response.
Individual Basketball Skills We Can Develop
- Ball handling: Control with both hands, changes of pace, direction changes, protective dribbles and handling under pressure.
- Shooting mechanics: Foot alignment, balance, release, follow-through and repeatable form from relevant distances.
- Finishing: Lay-ups on both sides, footwork at the rim, use of angles, touch and finishing through controlled contact.
- Passing: Accuracy, timing, passing off the dribble and selecting the right pass for the situation.
- Footwork: Jump stops, pivots, jab steps, change-of-direction footwork and efficient movement into a shot or drive.
- Weak-hand development: Structured work to make the non-dominant hand more useful in dribbling, passing and finishing.
- Perimeter and post skills: Role-specific moves, spacing, body position and scoring options suited to the player.
- Individual defence: Stance, lateral movement, close-outs, recovery steps and disciplined positioning.
Private Small-Group Basketball Training
A small private group allows two to four players to practise reads that require a teammate or defender. Training can include drive-and-kick decisions, passing under pressure, close-outs, 1v1, 2v2, finishing against a defender and competitive shooting.
Recommended group size: two or three athletes, with a maximum of four. Players should be reasonably compatible in age, level, physical readiness and training goals so each participant receives meaningful coaching attention.
How Progress Is Reviewed
Progress can be reviewed through shooting consistency, control with both hands, footwork quality, decision-making and execution against guided pressure.
Reviews should describe observable changes and the next coaching priority. They should not promise guaranteed performance, team selection or competition results.
