We Got Tired of Losing Good Pitches. So We Built This.
This started with a recurring Tuesday-night problem. A group of us in Dubai wanted to play five-a-side, and every single week the same thing happened: you'd call three venues, two wouldn't pick up, the third would say "yes, come" and then hand the slot to another group who showed up ten minutes before you. We've all stood on the kerb outside a locked school gate, boots in hand, texting a number that's stopped replying. It's a rubbish way to start a game.
Our Story
So we built the thing we wanted — a way to see what's genuinely free, book it, pay, and get an instant confirmation that actually holds. No double-bookings. Real photos instead of one blurry shot from 2019. Honest prices. The slot you booked, every time.
We started with football and a handful of Dubai grounds. We're now across Al Barsha, Al Quoz, Mirdif, Silicon Oasis, Jumeirah and more, adding venues and sports — cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, padel — as fast as we can vet them properly. If your favourite spot isn't on here yet, give us a nudge.
Book With Star was created in 2018 to change that.
We set out to build one platform where every player — whether you're a weekend footballer, a competitive cricket team, a school organising a sports day, or a company planning a team event — could search, compare, and book a verified sports venue in minutes. No calls. No confusion. No surprises.
